One of the great things about our mix is you can customize it!

Here are some ideas to get you started:

Banana Bread

  • 1 Lil Buff Protein cake mix (Fit-Fetti)
  • 1 egg white (46g) (3 Tbsp)
  • medium ripe banana (mashed)
  • 1/8th cup of milk (30-40mL) ( Unsweetened Cashew Preferred)

Follow standard directions for making a Lil Buff Protein cake as seen in the “How To” page. Instead of adding applesauce, substitute the mashed banana. Add a dash of cinnamon, walnuts, chocolate chips, or even some coconut flakes. Microwave for about 2:40. If you want to bake it in the oven to make a loaf, double the recipe and put in a small loaf pan (2 bananas, 2 mixes etc.). Preheat the oven to 300 and bake 30-40 mins or until the middle is not doughy. Make your own creation and post it. Use the hashtag #lilbuffprotein so we can see your awesome banana bread

Banana Blueberry Muffins

  • 1 Lil Buff Protein cake mix (Fit-Fetti)
  • 3 Tbsp egg whites or 1 large egg white (46g)
  • 1/8th cup of milk (30-45 mL) (Unsweetened Cashew Preffered)
  • 1 medium ripe banana (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
Follow standard directions for making a Lil Buff Protein cake as seen in the “How to” page. Once batter is thoroughly mixed, mix in the fresh blueberries. Preheat oven to 350F and spoon batter into a well greased muffin tin. For large muffins like the ones pictured here, bake in mini bundt pans. It is not recommended to use cupcake liners since the batter tends to stick to the paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the middle is cooked and the top is slightly brown. Make different variations of the muffins by substituting banana for the applesauce. Each mix makes about 4 standard size muffins or 2 large deli style muffins. Post your creations and hashtag #lilbuffprotein so we can see your delicious blueberry “buffins”.
